Refund & Replacement Policy
At Wilsha Candles, every product is handcrafted with care using premium materials and carefully tested candle formulations. Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in appearance may occur and are not considered defects.
No Refund Policy
All sales are final.
We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed.
However, we do offer replacements for products that arrive damaged or are determined to have a verified manufacturing defect.
Eligible Replacement Claims
We will replace products under the following conditions:
1. Damage During Shipping
If your candle arrives:
- Broken
- Cracked
- Leaking
- Severely melted
- Otherwise damaged during transit
you may qualify for a replacement.
To Submit a Damage Claim
Please email us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of:
- The damaged product
- The shipping box
- Packaging materials
- Shipping label
Failure to provide photos within the required timeframe may result in denial of the claim.
2. Manufacturing Defects
We will replace candles with verified manufacturing-related issues, including:
- Wick failure caused by manufacturing defects
- Severe tunneling despite proper candle care
- Abnormal burning behavior caused by production defects
- Significant fragrance performance issues due to formulation defects
All replacement requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Candle Care & Burn Responsibility
Each order includes a Candle Care Instruction Card with proper usage and safety guidelines.
Candles must be burned correctly to perform as intended.
Proper First Burn Requirement
To prevent tunneling, customers must allow the wax melt pool to reach the edges of the container during each burn session.
Recommended burn time:
- Minimum: 3 hours
- Maximum: 4 hours per burn session
Failure to follow proper candle care instructions may void replacement eligibility.
Non-Eligible Claims
We do not replace or refund products for:
- Tunneling caused by short burn sessions
- User misuse or improper candle care
- Burn times exceeding recommended limits
- Natural wax variations or frosting
- Preference-based issues:
- Scent strength preference
- Color variations
- Minor cosmetic imperfections
- Damage caused after delivery
- Failure to trim wicks properly
- Improper storage conditions
Replacement Approval Process
If your claim is approved:
- A replacement product of the same item will be shipped at no additional cost.
- If the original item is unavailable, a product of equal value may be substituted.
- Replacement requests do not guarantee future replacements for repeated misuse-related claims.
Shipping Issues
Once a package has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery delays are outside of our control.
We are not responsible for:
- Delayed shipments
- Lost or stolen packages marked as delivered
- Incorrect shipping addresses entered by the customer
